Stolen car chase ends in dramatic M5 crash

A 40-year-old man led police on an hour-long pursuit across Sydney's western suburbs in a stolen Mazda MX-5, evading road spikes and driving on footpaths before crashing on the M5 motorway near Revesby. The chase began in Guildford at 10:35am and traversed multiple suburbs including Merrylands, Chester Hill, Bass Hill, Auburn, Regents Park and East Hills.
