Stone Family Reunites for Christmas Sequel | Durham News

The Stone family reunites for a heartfelt Christmas sequel twenty years after the original hit — with nearly every cast member back, including Claire Danes, Rachel McAdams, and Sarah Jessica Parker. Craig T. Nelson’s character brings his new girlfriend to the holiday chaos, reigniting old tensions and laughs. The film also serves as a touching tribute to late matriarch Diane Keaton, whose absence looms large over the script — written and directed by Thomas Bezucha, who’s deeply honoring her legacy. Luke Wilson called it “really funny” and emotional, thrilled to reconnect with the crew, especially knowing Keaton’s spirit will live on through this reunion.
