Hey, friend. Welcome to On The Daily. I'm your host, Danielle McCleary, and I'm a quantum business coach. I'm the host of this podcast.
I'm a multi-six figure entrepreneur, co-founder and president of HypeU Media and CEO of Danielle on The Daily Coaching. What I'm really interested in is helping you live a life and have a business that is a full body, yes. So through all of my education and all of my experience, I'm bringing you two episodes a week where I will guide you and give you the tools necessary to scale a massive, sustainable and sexy business using your intuition, wealth, energetics, and human design. What we can call it is business biohacking.
So if you're down for that, then I say, let's frickin' go. I'm so glad you're here. Hi, I'm The Daily Family. Welcome back to the podcast.
My name is Danielle, and I am your host. Today, we're going to talk about making moves because this is something that has been coming up a lot in my world lately, and it's something that I think people are way over-complicating, and I want to talk about it. So if you feel like you're dancing on this line between making a move or not making a move, or you feel like you're on the precipice of a really big decision, then this episode is for you, and you should keep listening. Before we get into that, I have to tell you that Hype University is officially launched.
It's here, it's in the world, it's alive, it's thriving, it's breathing, and it's awesome. I feel like this is the first time I've built a business, and obviously this is the first time I've built a business with someone else, like as a 50-50 partner, and there have been so many ahas along the way, and we've learned so much and we're going to continue to learn so much because that's just what it is when you build a business, but this moment of launching our membership platform from New Entrepreneurs, looking to dip their toes into paid coaching and want to just soak up all of that information, actually launching it is just so surreal. So it's here, it's out, and inside of Hype University, you get weekly live trainings from different coaches in the areas of innovation, to strategy, to leadership, to social media, to energetics, like human design, and law of attraction, and all the things astrology, manifestation, it's all in there, and it's so powerful. And then we also have monthly course rentals, so all of our coaches are, you know, have their own coaching businesses, like myself included, I have my own coaching business, and my course is the first one in there this month, and basically, you can get overcoming limiting beliefs free when you sign up for Hype University, which is $365 for the year, it's a dollar a day, it's incredible.
Every live trainings every week, you get an on-demand library of trainings, plus you get monthly course rentals, and mine is the first one, and I'm also the first training inside of their next week, and I'm going to be talking about human design. So if you haven't joined Hype University, now is the time, and it's a really great space to join. If you feel like you're brand new on this entrepreneurship journey, maybe you've tried it in the past, maybe you have never tried it, but have always wanted to try it, this is going to definitely be the place for you, so I'm excited about that, and let's get into this episode. Making a big decision, this is something that people overcomplicate every time, people overcomplicate, and I don't know why we overcomplicate making big decisions, maybe it's because in the past we've been burned, or maybe in the past we've made decisions not from our intuition, but from our ego, and when we make decisions from our ego, it usually doesn't end up going well for us, and so there's always this fear to make a decision this time, because last time X, Y, and Z happened.
I just think that now you're different, this time isn't last time, and no matter where you are in your journey of building a brand, building a business, building yourself, you're not the same person you were when you made that last decision, and maybe the last time you made a decision it wasn't the right decision, or it wasn't as powerful as it could have been, and that's all fine. I think when we start to get afraid of making bigger decisions, it's because we subconsciously feel that bad decisions or incorrect decisions for us were failures, or made us a failure, and I just think that's worth shit. I don't think that failure is a thing, I think it's sold to us, and it's sold to us out of this propaganda to keep us afraid of growing, and every time I failed, every time I've made mistakes, and trust me, I have made quite a few, I've learned something, and there's a lesson to be learned there, and I do believe that everything is happening for me, so when I've made decisions it didn't pan out, or when I played small and I didn't get the ROI I wanted, it all makes sense, and I think when we start to approach our life and our business this way of everything makes sense. When we really start to do that, the making decisions isn't as scary, right?
A good example of this is we moved into our house in January, and immediately got to decorating, probably poured about $100,000 into this house right away, and then I saw a post from a coach that I really resonated with, and my entire body was like, you need to work with this person, and I had been following her for a while, so I knew what she was about, but that was the first time I felt this pull of like, you need to work with her, and so I messaged her, I applied for her highest package, her VIP mastermind, and which comes with one-on-one support, and I was like, that's it, this is what I'm doing, and it was like a $60,000 investment, and I already have other investments that I'm doing, I'm currently locked into a business by design course, I'm currently locked into other courses in masterminds, and I've had one-on-one coaches, but it just felt right, and I remember a time when I wouldn't make big decisions, or I would let the fear of the money get in the way, or I'd let the fear of like, well, what if it doesn't pan out, or what if it doesn't give me the ROI, I need, and ultimately, when I make decisions from that place, the decision's never correct, and the decision always feels bad, and it always comes back around as a lesson, so now that I'm at this place where I'm making decisions, and when I feel the pull, I jump. I'm a sacral bean, I'm a generator in human design, and if human design is not something you've dove into yet, I highly suggest that you do, and I have a human design for business course that's starting July 1st, which is, I mean, it's probably one of my favorite courses to coach, because it really does teach you how to build a business without feeling like you're on a hamster wheel. It teaches you how to build up from a place of alignment, and from a place of peace, and ultimately make bigger decisions with less hesitation, with less dragging of the feet, right? I can't tell you how many people I've heard say, like, well, I'm just waiting for my, you know, for a few things to line up, I'm just waiting for a few more things to fall into place, and then I'll be there.
I'll join your mastermind, and I'm like, CEOs don't wait for things to fall into place. CEOs don't wait for the ducks to be in a row. CEOs don't like sit around hoping that a miracle is going to happen. CEOs make the miracle happen, right?
It's not, they're not sitting around being like, how can I add value? They are the value. I am the value. And so I make moves based on that, and I think that we overcomplicate decisions.
I think we overcomplicate making big, scary moves in our business and in our life, and I see this a lot when people are deciding whether or not to invest in my mastermind or into private mentorship, because obviously those are higher ticket containers, and the idea of spending $9,000 or $12,000 is a little scary. I get it. And if your intuition didn't say, ooh, let's do that, because you felt a pull for it, right? And I have this conversation all the time.
People will feel the pull. They'll come to me because they feel the pull. They'll be like, oh, my gosh, this sounds awesome. I love this.
And then I'll be like, okay, great. And then they'll be like, oh, I don't know if I can do this, or ooh, I have to ask my husband, or ooh, I have to ask my wife, or ooh, I have to do this. I have to do that. None of those things actually have to happen.
You're pretending they do, because that's what your ego is telling you. Your ego is like, no, we don't want to do this. This is crazy. But your ego is saying that because your ego only knows where you've been and its job is to protect you.
And in order for a lot of times, in order to feel safe, you have to stay where you're at because growth and the unknown is scary. So naturally, your ego is going to try to slow you down, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh. But when we start to make decisions from our intuition and we go, ooh, yeah, this feels scary. Like $9,000 feels like a lot of money, or ooh, yeah, like $20,000 for private mentorship feels like a lot of money.
And I know, and I trust myself enough, it's trust in yourself. I trust myself enough that I will figure it out and I will make this work and I will, and I'm not saying jump into containers like not knowing how you're going to afford it and be like, oh, I don't know how I'm going to afford it. Hope for the best. No, that container is probably not the right place for you then because defaulting on payments is also a really leaky energy and it really doesn't feel good in your body and it makes it like perpetuates the cycle of lack and scarcity.
So don't jump into a container and then risk defaulting on your payments because that does not feel good at all. What I'm saying is if you're like, ooh, yeah, that's a stretch, but like you have the money to do it and when you break it down, you're like, actually, I could do that, but like, ooh, do I want to do that. You wouldn't have been led there if your intuition didn't know that you could be there. So wasting all this time and dragging your feet and waiting for your ducks to get in a row.
It's just wasting time. It's just so that is so tired and ultimately you are the only one who gets to choose to jump off that hamster wheel. You're the only one who can decide like, you know what, I'm done playing it small. I'm done just jumping into these cheap little master classes and like, you know, then not feeling like I'm fully expressed.
Well, duh, you don't feel like you're fully expressed because you're ready for something bigger. You're ready for a closer proximity container. You're ready for a higher support container, but you keep letting your ego in. You keep letting your excuses win and therefore you're staying really small.
You stay small when you play small. When you're making this move, right? The last time you made a big move, you were at a different level, bigger level, bigger moves. You're at a new level now.
You've got to make a bigger move. And that move is going to have to happen before you feel good about it before it's like, feel safe. If it feels safe, it's not big enough, right? If you can achieve, I actually have a client that said this, my one of my mastermind clients Tia, she said this in her, one of her stories, and it just is so true.
If you're business, if you don't need a coach or a mentor or a big move to become that next version of yourself, then you are not dreaming big enough, like I would never build this business without mentorship ever because I know that mentorship is what's going to keep me growing. It's what's going to give me these quantum leaps. It's what's going to give me consistent growth in my business. Even through ebbs, right?
Eb and flow is normal, consistent growth is also normal, or you can normalize it. And when you start to normalize these big moves, then they don't feel so scary. Like, now I'm like, oh, yeah, I know that, like, when I go to make a move, it might feel a little uncomfortable, but I know if I push through that discomfort and I just make the move, then everything's fine and it ends up feeling really good. And I end up getting the ROI that I want, whether that's in financial ROI right away, emotional ROI, mental ROI, the ability to be, you know, to have more discernment, the ability to stand in my power, the ability to own my shit, it all happens when you start making bigger moves.
And all of this time that you're wasting waiting for things to fall into place and waiting for right time, right place, like, I am sorry, yes, divine timing is everything. And that is also a crutch that a lot of people use. People use, right? I'm in the right place.
What you're actually saying when you say that is you're waiting for it to feel good in your body. And if you're growing, then it's not going to feel good right away. It's going to feel scary. It's going to feel a little bit restricting.
It's going to feel like you can't breathe. And that's because your ego is doing whatever it can. It is giving you all of these, like, physical reactions because it wants you to stay here. Because there is scary.
But there is what your higher self is connected to. There is how you are connected to God's source universe. There is your intuition and there never leads you down the wrong path. So this, like, I'm just waiting for the right time in the right place.
There's a difference between, like, divine timing is everything and I'm trusting that the right things are going to come to me when it's time. There's a difference between that energy and I'm just waiting for the right time in the right place. The right time in the right place is you saying, I'm just waiting for it to feel good in my body and guess what? It's never going to.
Not if you're really trying to grow. Divine timing. Yes. Like when I saw the post of my mentor, it did not feel good to be like, oh, yeah, I'm just going to go shell out another $60,000.
But it was divine timing. And I trusted that because my intuition said yes, even though my ego was like, no, no, no, no, no. My intuition was like, yes. So think about this.
When you're making big moves, right? CEOs make moves. Like make the fucking moves. They don't wait around.
They own them. They own their power. They stand in their power. They are like CEOs.
That is the difference between a CEO and an employee. CEOs work on their business, CEOs work on their business, employees work in the business. And in order to work on your business, you have to be able to discern when it's time to make a big fucking move and make it and don't dwell on it and don't be overdramatic about it and don't like let it ruin you. Just feel it, process it in your body and move on.
Okay. I hope this was helpful. I love talking about the ego. I love talking about big moves.
