Stop Dumbing Down People

Impoverished communication skills hinder critical thinking, they even prevent us from becoming an individual, and prevent us from solving problems that cause chaos and suffering. Simplistic language limits individuals' cognitive abilities and fuels conflict. This article cites neurological research and offers practical examples from his daughter's work as a speech pathologist. Buzzwords and religious language often obscure meaning and chase people away.
