Stop Looking For The Donkey's

from Victory Church Jbay · host Louis Els

For us to live in a place of confidence and security, we need to shift our focus off ourselves and direct it towards God. In 1 Samuel 9:1-20, we read about how Saul was oblivious to God’s plan because he was busy looking for the donkeys, meanwhile, God was looking for him because He had a plan for him. God is busy looking for us because He wants to assign us to something greater. Sometimes God will allow us to go and look for things in our lives so that when we find it we know it is not what we are looking for. However, as we yield to the process like Saul did, a shift will begin to take place in our heart. When we align with the purposes of God, the anointing of God will begin to rise up within us and send us forth with strength, power, and boldness. Let’s decide today to stop looking for our donkeys, but instead look for our Kingdom purpose, be the donkey and carry the King.
