from Personal Development Trailblazers Podcast · host Digital Trailblazers

Welcome to the Personal Development Trailblazers Podcast! In today’s episode, we’re talking about how to remove your procrastination blocks so you can start accomplishing your goals.Radhika Achari lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband and their two kids (4.5 years old & 3 years old). Parenthood has been a dream come true and has taken planning/logistics to a new level of complexity. She is working on being more innovative with her time to juggle her professional and personal aspirations while maintaining healthy habits and relationships. She is a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) specializing in Early Intervention & neurological disorders. She has been utilizing the principles and evidence-based practices of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) on children with developmental disabilities for the past 11 years. She was overjoyed to discover her niche as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in a field that combined her talents and intuition for creative thinking, working with children, providing parent training, collaborating with teachers/therapists, and teaching the community. She has also worked with neurotypical children and children with genetic disorders and comorbidities. From a leadership perspective, she explored public speaking and gave talks on the neuroanatomy of autism and encouraging neurodevelopment in infants and toddlers. She loves teaching all ages. During the pandemic, she began as the Director of Behavioral Services. She started to work with teens and adults with comorbidities (specifically neurological disorders) to provide interdisciplinary behavioral support and remote therapy for the clients and parents. Families with a child with developmental and neurological disorders experience parental burnout to the point where closer to 70% of the marriages dissolve. Parents lose their identity and control over the situation when they focus strictly on the parent-child relationship rather than on their own well-being. As she sees this with most of her clients, she is trying to launch her own growth-mindset consulting company as a side hustle to provide additional parent and relationship coaching. Given the nature of the recent COVID-19 pandemic, her clinical cases have shifted to focus on parent training, specifically alleviating parental burnout. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston and a Master's in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M University, with a focus on cognition and creativity. She is excited to have recently attained her EdD in Org.Connect with Radhika Here: https://www.instagram.com/analyze_n_act/https://analyzeandact.com/Grab the freebie here: https://analyzeandact.com/guides/growth-mindset===================================If you enjoyed this episode, remember to hit the like button and subscribe.
