Since the mouth and heart are connected, our words can be a powerful force rather positive or negative. We will be judged by our words, so it is crucial for believers to be quick to listen and slow to speak. One's words reveals the true character of their heart. Also, we should not speak vaguely in words that could fit a thousand situations. One remedy to fix our words is to ensure our heart is full of the love of Christ so that only truth and purity will come out. Our conversation should benefit othesr and not tear each other down. Our witness to unbelievers can either win someone to Christ or turn them off because how we talk to people. Please meditate on this Word and join us next week on how "not" grieve the Holy Spirit.
