Stop subscribing to stereotypes

The COVID-19 pandemic has struck all communities globally.  The United States has been impacted the heaviest more so than other countries.  However, there is a narrative that is being developed unlike the other countries that the virus is an "African-American" disease.  While it is true that the virus is collectively taking the lives of many blacks in the country it is equally taking the lives of so many different people.  The messaging being framed from the Surgeon General is disturbing in nature because it lumps all blacks into one group regardless, of socio-economic status inferring that all black are alcoholics, drug users or have high blood pressure is a dangerous message the way it is being delivered by the top doctor in the country.  We need to hear the message but not trumpicated with coded language.  Let's talk about.  Open to your point of view.  How can we get the messages out to all communities and help our country to get through this crisis.
