Stop Trying to Win at Wellness: How to Lead Without the Pressure to Be Perfect

from Tearin’ Up My Heart: Emotional Leadership Lessons · host Jenna Heath Moreno

Greetings from Down Under! As I’ve been on my lovely Australian walkabout, I’ve been reflecting on the pressure I can feel as a wellness practitioner- personal trainer, Esogetic Colorpuncturist, yoga teacher, Pilates instructor to “do wellness right.” At times, I feel like there’s this unspoken idea that if we can just find the perfect routine or say yes to all the right things, we’ll finally feel balanced. We’ll finally “win” at our healing journeys. However, I believe real wellness, especially as a leader, isn’t about getting it all perfect. It’s about staying present, finding what actually works for you, and adapting as we evolve.   Join me as I break down 5 common wellness myths that I see come up all the time in leadership and coaching spaces. I also share my current, personal top 5 favorite wellness practices that help me stay grounded, especially when things feel messy or uncertain. This episode is a little different—no guest, just me sharing from the heart and hopefully offering you some space to breathe, reflect, and remember you’re not alone in this.   Thank you for listening. I hope this supports your wellness and leadership journeys.
