‘Stop using': Cinnamon recall expands amid warning of elevated lead levels

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has expanded its recall of ground cinnamon brands after finding dangerously high levels of lead in them. The recall, which began in July 2024, now includes 16 different brands, including products from two Illinois distributors — Raja Foods LLC in Skokie and Asli Fine Foods in Woodbridge.
