I would hop on each morning, if the number was "good" --meaning it hadn't gone up or perhaps had even gone down a bit, I could have a good day. If on the other hand, it went up (or didn't change despite my hardest efforts)... I was doomed to have a bad day. Usually being more strict with myself..or feeling totally defeated and just saying screw it--why even bother. This was an exhausting emotional roller coaster I rode for years. Today's episode features an interview with Maggie Powell. Maggie and I recently teamed up on The Ditch the Diet Summit. Maggie is a certified health and life coach, specializing in mindset. She struggled for years with low self-esteem, negative self-talk, lack of confidence, and body dysmorphia. Through her own mindset work and self-exploration, she has developed a healthy, loving relationship with herself. Now, she's passionate about helping other women find peace, confidence, and self-love for themselves.Her goal is to help other women find the same success that she has, but on a shorter path.
