Stories: A Long Obedience in the Same Direction

In this episode, Garrett and Bink bring on very special guest Eve Sarrett. She has been a long time mentor, friend, and younglife leader to hundreds of people in the greater Nashville area, including Bink. They begin the episode with fast facts about Eve, then talk about their favorite and least favorite changes to Nashville (5:40), their favorite childhood memory (11:05), Bink's current annoyance (16:05), and what profession each would be in if they weren't in their current job (19:56). Then, they jump into Eve's story (25:38) where she talks about how she stole things as a high school kid, but then Jesus stole her heart after attending a Young Life club. She shares her history in Young Life and how God provided a way for her there to serve Him, the importance of community in church, and meeting Doug (her husband of 34 years). We conclude the episode with one of her favorite moments at a Young Life camp, one of a thousand stories she could tell.
