Episode 4 — Melanie's Story :: Life a high school teacher & bride In our fourth, and last episode of Stories from Quarantine, Jason and I are joined by our friend, Melanie Nonnemacher. Melanie is a high school teacher who taught all seniors this school year! She shares with us what it's been like to have the remainder of the school year go to an e-learning platform, what that means for her students, and some of the hard realities for seniors in this season of quarantine. Melanie is also engaged, and her wedding was scheduled for March 21, 2020. Unfortunately, she and her fiancé had to postpone their wedding until the summer, and we talk about how heartbreaking that decision was, but also what she's learned through it all. We are so thankful to Melanie for sharing her quarantine story and perspective with us, as it's much different than our experience. It was hard to hear some of the realities for her students and what this quarantine and abrupt ending to their schooling has meant for them, and prompted me to pray for students who are in a similar situation.
