Storms Reveal Foundations

DEVOTIONAL The real foundation of our life is usually hidden and until a storm comes. And 2020 has been a metaphorical storm revealing the true foundations of believers, pastors, and churches. We are living in a time and age where the rain is coming down, the streams are rising, and the winds are blowing against our house. Will it reveal Solid Biblical Truth as foundations or will it reveal Sandy Progressive Doctrines as foundations? Today, believers are more apt to believe the words of a blue checkmark than the red words of Scripture. And as a result, we see many who are falling away from sound doctrine and into progressive doctrines that deny the inspiration of Scripture and a redefining what it means to be a Christian. We need to develop deep, seated convictions, especially when we are being pulled and tugged in a million directions. Remember, if you don’t know what you believe, you will fall for anything.
