Story of the Shift: DeAnne Joy

from Are Those Rose Colored Glasses You're Wearing? · host Audrey Acton

Episode 50 DeAnne said one of the best lines I know during her podcast regarding all those crisis moments; this is happening FOR me, not TO me. Love, love, love that! Her desire to explore outside of the box that she had lived in and learned in, is inspiring. So many one liners, you could write a week's worth of social media off of them! "Our gift is in our journey". Bring your tissues... DeAnne Joy is a transformation and legacy expert, speaker and author. She is a Master Practitioner of Neuro-linguistics and a licensed clinical therapist with a Masters in Social Work, having worked as a therapist and end-of-life social worker for over 20 years. Drawing on both personal and professional experience, DeAnne specializes in helping women in midlife who are lacking clarity and fulfillment to transform their lives so they can live their legacy NOW with joy, passion and power. Over the course of her career, DeAnne has helped thousands of people, including celebrities and CEOs. She has trained physicians in facilitating end-of-life conversations with patients and families, and is a strong advocate for completing advance healthcare directives to prepare for the future, while fully embracing life today. DeAnne is a Thrive Global contributor and has been featured in Huffington Post and on several podcasts. Her upcoming book, No Regrets: Live Your Legacy, Leave Your Legacy, is due for release in November, 2018.
