StoryCorps Austin: Sandy Graham
from KUT News Hosted by KUT News
The StoryCorps mobile booth was in Austin in January, and we’re bringing you some of the stories that were recorded there. Locally recorded stories will air on Monday mornings during Morning Edition and archived here. Before embarking on her fifty-year career as an educator, Sandy Graham was a rebellious teenager living in Commack, Long Island who became pregnant and gave up a baby daughter for adoption. It's not a story she tells to many people, but she recently sat down in the StoryCorps mobile booth and shared the story with StoryCorps facilitator Chelsea Aguilera.
