Storytime: Tardis Fam the rise of communities - With Crystal

from Crohn's and Autism Awareness Advocate · host Mason Milne

Today I am joined with Crystal who is one of the founders of the Tardis Fam! She explains about it in more depth in this episode! Crystal's partner is autistic and on the spectrum! We talk about The Doctor shows autistic traits, we transverse into the stranger things universe. The latest season is based in 1986 where not many would be aware of what Autism is things were very different then. A character in the show Stranger Things called "Robin" shows social cues and its very shy when meeting new people in the year of 2022 she would be classed as an autistic person on the spectrum as me and Crystal discussed. But unfortunately  it's mathematically impossible the show to in force a diagnosis for Robin.  Within the Tardis Fam there is a lot of awareness spread of different communities such as Autism, LGPTQ, Transgender and more, they like be as positive as they can I think it's so great what they are doing. So much to talk about in this episode as well as sarcasm with Autism and the show we love Doctor Who series! The Doctor Who and Autism series is shaping off nicely and this is only the beginning! A quote Crystal relates to is from Peter Capaldi Kind speech. "Remember, hate is always foolish, and love is always wise. Always try to be nice, but never fail to be kind" great quote being Kind to others and to yourself is important!  Thank you again Crystal it was a blast!
