It appears that John Thune is ignoring the desires of the American public. Although both the President and the citizens support the passage of the Save America Act, Thune suspiciously refuses to allow a vote on it. While eliminating the filibuster represents the correct path forward, John remains opposed. Recent polling suggests a shift in public opinion, with some Americans growing weary of Donald Trump. While polls shouldn't be entirely dismissed, their historical inaccuracy is well-documented. Typically, high gas prices and the prolonged conflict with Iran would alienate voters from an incumbent president. However, with the Democrats facing financial strain, the electorate isn't dissatisfied enough to embrace the left's socialist alternatives.
