According to an FBI report, businesses are where the majority of active shooter incidents take place. Handguns remain the weapon of choice for these attackers, contrary to what certain media outlets would lead you to believe. Additionally, most of these incidents are premeditated by the assailant, and a significant number of these attacks occur in gun-free zones. When attempting to survive an active shooter situation, it is best to vary your response. Is it more effective to move and shoot, or shoot and move? Crucially, you must keep your head in the conflict. Ultimately, should you choose to hide or should you move?
