Strange form

You open the book and turn the page to discover and unveil the story. It's what you expect, pages and letters that tell you what it is. Except not with you, the letters are secret code, the pages cut, and when you close the book the real story begins and the knife plunges in your back. Lies fly, and stories are made to break down and destroy your prey. Double-faced, poison purveyor, do stay away from me. I have burnt your book!
