In May of 2000, 17-year-old Liz Reiser and 18-year-old Brandi Hicks go to a local video store in the quaint Ohio town of New Philadelphia. Their plans for an innocent movie night quickly morph into a true-life horror film when they decide to give a ride to a stranger in the parking lot. The strange passenger takes Liz and Brandi on a ride to a remote area, at least 15 miles from the nearest town.
