Strange Travels S2 E35

from Strange Things with Chris James · host Chris James

Here are a few trips that are memorable to say the least. My drive to El Paso and back were I had a weird run in with an ancient gas station. In 1948 Frederick Benjamin Carlin set out to drive, sail, around the world. He had an old military vehicle called a "Seep" designed to cross rivers. He was going to cross oceans with it. Carlin and his trusty Seep, the Half-Safe, arrived in Montreal, Canada on May 13, 1958. His ten year drive was finally at its end. Driving and sailing around the world.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/strange-things-with-chris-james--4931876/support.
