Strange Voyage and Adventures of Domingo Gonsales to the World in the Moon - Francis Godwin

"Strange Voyage and Adventures of Domingo Gonsales to the World in the Moon" is a pioneering work of science fiction, originally published in 1638, that chronicles the extraordinary journey of Domingo Gonsales as he travels to the moon in a fantastical machine powered by a flock of geese. Once there, he encounters the Lunars, a peculiar race of moon-dwellers, before returning to Earth in an equally whimsical manner. This abridged edition, released in 1768, not only showcases the imaginative spirit of early science fiction but also invites listeners to ponder themes of exploration and the human desire to reach beyond our earthly confines.
