In a letter to Utah Senate President Stuart Adams, Stratos data center developer Kevin O’Leary said he plans to reduce the proposed project footprint as opponents pursue two lawsuits challenging county actions related to the project. In the letter, written in response to “demands” from Adams, O’Leary said the proposed project area would be reduced from approximately 40,000 acres to about 20,000 acres. The developer also said a majority of the remaining land would be preserved as open space.
