His life so far has been such a random series of events that it's hard to imagine all this stuff could happen to one person - but it's all true. Nathan was a self described 'street kid' living a chaotic life in and out of crisis housing through teenagehood, due to his parents mental illness leaving them unable to care for him. He was faced with the threat of extreme physical violence on a constant basis, growing up in a world where a looming sense of despair was the norm. He's survived by any means necessary and found work everywhere from helicopter hangars, to oil rigs to selling real estate and solar power - all while trying to find his elusive place in the world.
