Street Trash Double feature

Me and Boo have always been Street Trash, but are we on board for a reimagining of the 87 cult melty classic. Is the original even worth watching? or is it a mess that deserves to be flushed down the toilet? So I watched both back to back to find out.I also watched the 2006 20 year anniversary documentary “The Meltdown Memoirs”.
