Today, the gang sits down with a fountain of knowledge, Coach Slats. Matt Slachetka is a strength and coach certified through NSCA and CSCCa. He is a USAW certified and a level 2 coach through Precision Nutrition. He has spent over a decade developing college athletes including several NFL prospects and now trains this nation's finest. As a collegiate and military strength and conditioning coach, he has worked with some of the greatest minds in the game including Ron McKeefery, Jeff Connors, Joe Kenn and Father Rob himself. He gives great insight into the grind of being a D1 strength coach, principals of speed and strength and some lessons learned from the legends he has worked with. After some fun conversation with Slats, the boys do a special female edition of gym hitters and then The Book of the Week.
