I am afraid that there are many in the church today that will never hear a sermon on Psalm 5 and other texts like it. And the reason is undoubtedly the hard sayings found in these texts. But we are called to preach the whole counsel of God and when we fail to do this there are inevitably large gaps in our spiritual formation.
