He has published widely, particularly in the fields of Baptist identity and spirituality, and is known internationally in Baptist and evangelical circles through his speaking engagements and writing. The Baptist Union of Great Britain Peter is the author of The Message of Discipleship: Authentic Followers of Jesus in Today's World in the Bible Speaks Today Themes series, along with several works on Baptist history, including books on Charles Spurgeon and Andrew Fuller.
