Memory Verse: ‭‭"‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭He touched their eyes and said, “Become what you believe" - Matthew‬ ‭9:29‭ ‭MSG‬‬ Bible Text: ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭ ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭54:2‭-‬3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ 2. ‭‭Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes. 3. For you shall expand to the right and to the left, And your descendants will inherit the nations, And make the desolate cities inhabited. INSPIRATION: Isaiah comes with a divine matching order: "Enlarge the place of your tent..." In other words, don't be content with smallness. Whilst you may start small, be willing to skillfully exert and apply yourself to achieve greatness. It is God's intent to see your expand, and He's made resources available to achieve this. If you stay complacent, your goals and objectives would not translate themselves into results on their own. Lofty ideas do not turn themselves to achieveable goals just like that. "Enlarge the place of your tent and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings!" As your expansion kicks in, cover your tracks. Leave nothing to chance. Have a holistic approach to life. No aspect of your life should be left uncatered to. He says to "lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes." These words are too direct and piercing to the core to be taken at surface level. Break every limit imposed by stereotypes and myths about boundaries. Overflow your bounds. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Know all the rules but break some! Be ruthlessly aggressive and uncompromising in the pursuit of your objectives. PRAYER: Dear Lord, help me to imbibe the culture of stretching my mind until I see results. Help me to think and see the many possibilities I could become when I action my beliefs and stretch my mind to attain same, in Jesus name.
