Stroke Stories Episode 3 - Nick and Jo Cann

In this episode, we speak to Nick and Jo Cann. Nick suffered a stroke in 2013 at the age of 50, and continues to suffer from aphasia as a result.To compensate for the lack of support in his local area, he set up a series of cafe meet ups for those in a similar situation to him. He also speaks at events up and down the country to raise awareness for stroke, and his herculean fundraising efforts won him a Life After Stroke Award in 2016. Hosted on Acast.
