In diesem Versuch wird an einem Transformator, der aus zwei Spulen mit unterschiedlicher Wendungszahl und einem Eisenkern besteht, auf der einen Seite eine geringe Stromstärke angelegt, während auf der anderen Seite eine wesentlich höhere Stromstärke gemessen wird. Diese reicht aus, um einen Nagel zu schmelzen.
