Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard -  Matthew 20:1-16Do you find yourself comparing your life to others?  Do you sometimes judge situations on fairness from your perspective?  You see someone getting treated in what looks to be better than you and you say, "That's not fair!"  Human nature is quick to point out what we see as inequalities in life circumstances.  But this particular parable asks us to step back and view the circumstance through a different lens, God's lens.  God's word does not always seem fair or even reasonable from the human perspective.  When that seems to be the case, we might do well to be challenged to try viewing through God's eyes.  Maybe this seems near impossible, but Christ came to help us learn to be better at this.  He challenges us to see things in a different light and with a different understanding.  The next time you want to say, "That's not fair!"
