Strong Dads - The Parable of Counting the Costs - Episode 211

What are you willing to pay for following Jesus?  We are not talking about buying Jesus, we are talking about what you are willing to put to the side, to reprioritize your time, attention, money, and relationships.  Where does Jesus come into your life?  Jesus makes a few heavy duty statements concerning the cost of putting him first.  Ahead of family, job, entertainment, even ourselves.  Jesus is talking about us making a decision to follow his way.  Incorporate his values and ways in our everyday living.  Serving others, forgiving others, extending grace to others, are just a few of the ways that we demonstrate our following of Jesus above anything thing or one else. Jesus makes a statement in John 14:6 that should make all of us take note.  "I am the way and the truth and the life.
