Stronger police presence at First Fridays in Oakland following recent violent events

Tomorrow is First Friday in Oakland a free street festival that draws thousands. But violent incidents have followed the event in recent months. This time there will be a much stronger police presence. Its not uncommon some forget to pay a bill or two. But one of Clipper's contractors supporting fares -- Cubic Transportation Systems -- forgetting to pay their circuit vendor AT&T caused that major BART outage back on May 18th. Ariana Grande fans are stretching around a San Francisco block to get their hands on tour merchandise ahead of her sold out shows.
