Stronger: Who Is Your AP?

Yes!  You are in!  This 'Play of the Day' is in your face.  They call him Dave and he's making his FriDudes debut.  Don't let the word 'single' throw you, this applies to you married dudes too.   Here you go...Word!  That is strong.  Dave Ramsey can drive me nuts at times. That is solid!  To hear more of that 'Play of the Day' check out 'Focus on the Family: Getting a Handle on Your Family Finances, Part 2 of 2, published on the 5th of January 2022.So how are you doing with your New Year's Resolutions?  Crash and burn yet?  You are definitely not alone.  Doing ok?  As I record this, we are 12 days in.  Haha!  So how about last year's resolutions?  Do you even remember any of them?  Odds are you are missing an AP.  No, not Adrian Peterson.  He's busy.So pop quiz.  Do you need to wait for only January 1 to make goals?  Of course, you can start right now, whenever you are listening to this.Are closer to God than you have ever been?  Ok, there is one major goal right there.If you are married, is your marriage stronger than it has ever been?  Ok, for most of you, that is another goal.Are you the healthiest you have ever been in your life?   99% of you say no.  Oddly, this is an area that comes easier to me.  Way, way easier than financial fitness.  We are all wired for different strengths.  Since working with GtSurf.org and those AP brothers such as Greg and Milk and Jogging Jesus and One&Done and the Finisher and HotRod, I have kept my goal weight for over 2 years now.  Accountability works!Do you have AP's in your life to help you achieve your goals?  Most of you don't, let us help you there.  I'm very serious.  Hit us up at the 'Contact Us' page at FriDudes.com and put 'Stepping My Game Up' in subject header and we will rally around you.What IF you had some accountability partners that you could trust?  Ones that will tell you what you need to hear vs. what you want to hear.  AP's that believe in Phil 4:13, that anything is possible in Christ which strengthens me.  What is you had AP's that absolutely sharpen you just like iron sharpens iron, Pro 27:17.So ending on a prayer note, another one short and sweet!  Heavenly Father, thank you for this listener.  They are not here by accident.  They are here for a reason.  You wired them for a purpose.  You designed us to thrive with AP's we can trust.  Put those AP's in front of them.  Either here or there.  You tell us that we will give an account for our life someday.  Thank you for that heads up.  Guide us.  May we ask you each day, Lord, what do you want me to do today?  Do my goals line up with your plan?  Amen
