Many people start a fitness program with massive goals in mind: "I need to lose 40 pounds," or, "I'm going to gain 15 pounds of muscle and lose 30 pounds of fat this year!" Unfortunately, however, most of us lose motivation after around week #2, and those goals slide back into the realm of wishes. This was the experience of former MLB pitcher, Andrew Massie. After leaving the majors, Andrew eased into and out of many different avenues of fitness, but never quite found one that stuck for him. Until he reached his "breaking point" and realized that he needed to make a change for good this time. That point of no return accidentally became a launchpad for MASSIVE transformation, and it led to Andrew becoming incredibly consistent over months of training without particular (or Herculean) effort. In today's episode, we discuss how Andrew used small habits, built up one-by-one over time, to create dramatic and lasting change in his life.
