Stuck in a Job You Dislike? Here’s how to Survive (and Thrive). Episode 152

It's important to make smart decisions when faced with a job you hate and avoid the temptation to just quit.  Here is some of what I share in today's show: Try to find one thing you like about the job and focus on the positive aspects to help get through tough times. Understand why you don’t like the job, and see if there is anything that can be changed. Make a plan for your future, including what you want to do with your career and what your long-term goals are. Start taking steps—however small—toward making these goals a reality.  Develop any skills that can be gained from the current position, and exercise caution when considering an exit strategy - some short-term pain might be part of making the smartest career decision.  Focus on maintaining mental and physical health despite being in a difficult situation at work
