School guidance counselor’s are usually the first to get cut when the budget comes around. Westerly Rhode Island High School again letting good staff walk out the door. One of the better counselors was pushed out. High School kids need counselors more and more that can relate to the kids. Especially the Junior and senior years. They need someone they like and trust.
