As a parent it is easy to put aside your own health and wellness. Dr. Tamara Beckford, an emergency room doctor and CEO of Urcaringdocs.com says, “Life comes at people fast” and it is important to build a positive network of people to ground you. It is after being able to express yourself that you will have the energy and be able to move on. Remember to take time out for yourself. You are important too! About Dr. Tamara Beckford: Dr. Tamara Beckford is a wife, mother, speaker, wellness expert, coach, and board-certified emergency physician. Dr. Beckford attended medical school in Newark, New Jersey, and trained in emergency medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Beckford is the CEO of UR Caring Docs and the UR Caring Society where she helps busy professional women put their health and wellness first for just two hours per month without the guilt. A sought-after speaker, Dr. Beckford has been a guest on dozens of podcasts and delivered several presentations on wellness and self-care.
