Student Workers Turned Admission Professionals

Each season, we have a guest that is a bit out of left field.  That's this episode. This week, we wanted to dig into the process of developing admission professionals from student workers.  We're joined by someone from outside the world of admission to show us that there's a much better way to do this.  Terry Tumbarello is the Director of Residence Life at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater, in Whitewater, Wisconsin - and is a personal friend and mentor of one of our hosts.  He describes how student affairs efficiently exposes rising professionals to a wide range of options outside their alma mater.  We follow up with a career progression discussion with a rising star, Conner Ellinghuysen, Director of Admission at Buena Vista University, in Storm Lake, Iowa.
