Students Aim To Raise Funds To Continue Robotics Journey After World Championship Success

from Clare FM · host Clare FM

A team of students from Ennis, who recently competed at the VEX Robotics World Championship after winning the All-Ireland title, are now seeking support to continue their journey in robotics. Having designed, built, and programmed their competition robot from the ground up, the group say the experience highlighted their passion for engineering, coding, and teamwork. However, as they transition from primary school, they say they no longer have access to the school’s robotics resources, equipment, or workspace. The team is now hoping to raise €2,500 to establish an independent setup that will allow them to continue building, learning, and competing in future VEX Robotics competitions. Team members; Maria Huriina, Antosh Róg and Hasan Jahangir joined Daragh Dolan on Thursday's Morning Focus.
