Students Honor 911 Through Tribute Wall | Las Vegas News

Seventeen-year-old Aiyana Castro is spearheading a powerful, student-led tribute in Las Vegas honoring the victims of 9/11 — bringing together nearly 1,000 students from elementary to high school to create a moving wall of handwritten messages. Through personal reflections and art, they’re bridging generations, connecting history with emotion, and echoing the unity seen after 9/11 and the Las Vegas shooting. The project culminates in community events this weekend, turning grief into collective memory — proof that young voices can carry history forward with heart and purpose.
