Zephaniah 1 February 15, 2026 SS. The historical timeline indicates that Judah could have seen what happened to the northern kingdom and learned from their experience. Yet they chose the curse side of Deuteronomy 28, and God was faithful to His promises. They may have tried to solve their problem like Adam and Eve did, insufficiently. But the problem they created could not be solved from their level. They needed God's mercy and help to solve it.
