For its 25th edition, Kiaf SEOUL assembles 175 galleries alongside Frieze Seoul under a single COEX roof, making September in Gangnam the most concentrated annual production of Speculative Velocity in the Asia-Pacific art market. This study examines the structural logic of the dual-fair format: what it does to the objects that pass through it, and why the question of stewardship cannot wait until after the booths come down.
