Study: 35% of adults still depend on parents for financial support | WBAP via FOX News Radio | 2/27/23
from Bill Dendy · host Real News Public Relations
WBAP via FOX News Radio recently asked Bill Dendy to come on the air 🎙 in Dallas, TX to discuss the recent study that found that more than 30% of adults still have at least one bill on their parents tab. Bill highlighted that it is natural for parents to want to give their children a better chance than they had, however this generation is different than previous generations and parents need to be aware of the potential risks associated with this. Bill suggested that it is important to have conversations with your children about budgeting and setting boundaries, as well as having an end date for when the “gravy train” comes to an end. He also noted that it is important for parents to make sure they are not sacrificing their own financial stability in order to take care of their children. Furthermore, Bill highlighted the importance of parents being financially responsible themselves so they can be of service to others and not become a “sandwich generation” that never got a break. Overall, Bill suggested that if parents need help understanding the finances, there is plenty of outside help available. #MoneyManagement #FinancialPlanning #Parenting
