Study finds digital platform assists dementia caregivers

Researchers at the University of East Anglia in the U.K. have created a digital therapy platform to help people caring for family members with dementia. Those caregivers are at high risk for anxiety, depression and other health issues. A new study has found that the platform, iACT4CARERS, was effective in reducing anxiety…and promises flexible, affordable and easy to access help. Lead Researcher Dr. Naoko Kishita..says the platform helps users learn new skills to cope and engage..“Where we encourage family carers to reflect on what’s really important in their life. We call them values.
