from Kan English · host כאן | Kan
Some 1,370 Israeli physicians left the country for at least 12 months between 2023 and 2025, according to a new Tel Aviv University study, raising concern over deepening brain drain in the nation's health system. The figure, which includes senior doctors and specialists, is nearly double the number of physicians who relocated abroad over a three-year period a decade ago. Prof. Itai Ater, a professor of economics at Tel Aviv University who conducted the study with Prof. Nittai Bergman and Doron Zamir, spoke to KAN reporter Naomi Segal (Photo: Illustrative.
