Study in Revelation #75
from Blasphemy on SermonAudio Hosted by Pastor Greg Price
The sermon analyzes the first beast of Revelation 13 as a political entity derived from the Roman Empire, tracing its historical progression through seven heads and ten horns. It argues that this beast derives its authority from Satan but operates under God's sovereign permission to test nations. The preacher identifies four key characteristics: satanic power, implicit worship by nations, utterance of blasphemies against God's law, and persecution of the saints. Emphasis is placed on distinguishing between explicit and implicit idolatry, warning that civil governments usurping divine prerogatives engage in blasphemous worship. The message concludes with a call for believers to maintain patience and faith, recognizing Jesus Christ as the sole King of Kings.
