Study on Job 1:20-22

In these closing verses of Job chapter 1, we witness one of the most powerful responses to suffering found anywhere in Scripture. After receiving wave upon wave of devastating news, Job falls to the ground in worship. Instead of bitterness, he expresses surrender. Instead of accusation, he declares the sovereign goodness of God: “The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”This message explores Job’s reverence, his restraint, and his remarkable faithfulness under unimaginable pressure.
